Privacy and data policy
This policy applies to the collection, use, disclosure and handling of personal information by Independent Executives Pty Ltd (ACN 651 569 292), trading as Independent Integrators, including information collected through independentintegrators.com.

Who we are
Independent Integrators is a brand of Independent Executives Pty Ltd, an Australian incorporated company. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Independent Executives Pty Ltd. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we only collect, use or disclose personal information in accordance with that Act and this policy.
What we collect, and why
There are two distinct groups of people whose information we hold, and we treat them differently.
If you ask to be introduced to an Integrator
We collect your name, email address, company, state, the timing and revenue band you select, the Integrators you shortlist, and whatever you write in the message. We collect it to send your request to the Integrators you shortlist, and to keep a record of it.
We pass your enquiry to the Integrators you shortlist, so that they can contact you directly. If you would rather they did not, don’t shortlist anyone, and your request will come only to our general inbox.
If you apply to be listed in the directory
We collect your name, biography, professional background, years of experience, an account of where you have held the Integrator seat, your sectors, client sizes and working style, your location, a photograph, your LinkedIn profile, and contact details including an email address for enquiries and optionally a phone number.
Most of this is published. Your name, photograph, biography, background, years, location (country and state or region), sectors, client sizes, working style and strengths appear publicly in the directory if your profile is published.
These are not published: your email address, phone number, postcode, LinkedIn URL, and your account of where you have held the seat. Those are held for our own verification and to route enquiries to you, and are visible only to our staff.
We use your enquiry email address to send you requests from people who shortlist you, and occasional updates about the directory, such as ways to promote your profile. Every update includes a link to unsubscribe; doing so stops updates but not enquiries.
Submitting an application is your consent to publish the fields listed above. You can ask us to change or remove your listing at any time.
Use and disclosure
We use personal information for the purpose it was collected, and for related purposes you would reasonably expect. We may also use or disclose it where you have consented; in confidence to our advisers and insurers; in confidence to third parties who help us improve our services; and where required or authorised by Australian law or a court order.
We may disclose personal information to:
- Integrators you have shortlisted, so they can respond to your enquiry;
- the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS) Asia Pacific or EOS Worldwide, other EOS implementers, and our advisers and consultants; and
- third party service providers used in running our business, subject to confidentiality arrangements we consider appropriate, including hosting, database, email delivery, document production, billing and archival providers.
Some of those providers are located outside Australia. Our website and database are hosted in Australia; our email delivery provider and some infrastructure providers operate from the United States. In the course of ordinary business we may also disclose personal information to third parties located in India, the United Arab Emirates, Japan, selected European Union countries and the United Kingdom.
Independent operators
Every Integrator listed here is an independent operator, not an employee or agent of Independent Executives Pty Ltd. We make the connection; we do not supervise, direct or guarantee the work that follows. Independent Executives Pty Ltd takes no responsibility for the quality, timeliness or outcome of any engagement you enter into with an Integrator, and any agreement is between you and them directly.
Accessing and correcting your information
You have a right to request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Contact us and we will respond. We may charge for providing access, and we may refuse access where the Act allows us to.
Data breaches
If personal information is lost, or accessed or disclosed without authorisation, and that is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will investigate and notify you and the Australian Information Commissioner as soon as practicable, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.
Security
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure, including access controls on our database so that private contact details are readable only by our staff. No transmission over the internet is completely secure. Except where liability cannot be excluded by statute, we exclude liability for the consequences of unauthorised access to your personal information. Please tell us immediately if you become aware of a breach.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us with as much detail as you can and we will take it seriously and aim to resolve it promptly. If you remain dissatisfied you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the regulator responsible for privacy in Australia. Complaints must be in writing.

Changes to this policy
We may change this policy at our discretion. By continuing to use the site, or otherwise continuing to deal with us, you accept the policy as it applies from time to time.

Governing law
This policy and your use of this site are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Victorian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
