In the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), the Integrator is the person who runs the day-to-day business. They chair the leadership Level 10 meeting, hold the leadership team accountable to the plan, lead data-driven decision making, and handle the difficult conversations. They are the counterpart to the Visionary, who generates ideas and holds the vision. The two seats are deliberately different people.

The most common sign is a Visionary sitting in both seats, generating the ideas and also chasing the execution, with neither done well. Others are an Integrator whose time is split across too many roles, an Integrator who is capable but unsupported, losing the one you had, or having tried a series of fixes that did not hold.

Independent Integrators publishes a directory of EOS-fluent Integrators at independentintegrators.com/directory. You can filter by location, sector, the size of company they suit, availability and whether they work remotely, on-site or a mix, then shortlist up to three and request an introduction.

You browse the directory, shortlist up to three Integrators, and send one request describing the seat. It goes straight to each Integrator you chose, with your contact details, and they get in touch with you directly. No. Every Integrator listed is an independent operator. Independent Integrators, a brand of Independent Executives Pty Ltd, makes the connection and does not supervise or direct the work that follows. Any engagement is between the business and the Integrator directly.

Applicants are screened against stated requirements: a minimum number of years in the Integrator seat, EOS experience, a written account of where they have held that seat, their sectors, client size and working style, a portrait, and a LinkedIn profile. Those checks confirm the information has been supplied and meets the thresholds; they do not independently verify that it is true, and a listing is not an endorsement.
